Cowichan Kombucha is a fast-growing local beverage company crafting small-batch kombucha with real ingredients, traditional fermentation, and an unwavering commitment to quality. From farmers' markets and community events to local retailers and our production facility, we're passionate about creating exceptional products and customer experiences.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that combines customer engagement with production. One day you'll be introducing customers to our products at a farmers' market or retail demo; the next you'll be brewing, bottling, and preparing orders.

What You'll Do

Brand Ambassador

• Represent Cowichan Kombucha at markets, demos, and events
• Sample products and educate customers
• Build relationships and process sales
• Set up attractive displays and maintain a professional booth

Production

• Assist with brewing, flavouring, bottling, kegging, and packaging
• Prepare wholesale and market orders
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Follow food safety procedures and quality standards

Business Growth

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Share ideas to improve the business
• Support marketing initiatives and special events
• Pitch in wherever needed

The Ideal Candidate

Experience with kombucha isn't necessary—we'll teach you.

We're looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and helping build a growing local brand.

We're not looking for someone to simply work in the business—we're looking for someone who wants to help build it.

Qualifications

• Customer service, retail, hospitality, or food service experience preferred
• Farmers' market experience is an asset
• Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
• Available for weekend markets and occasional evenings
